Emraan Hashmi is determined to change his onscreen image of the serial kisser. But uncle Mahesh Bhatt doesn’t want Emraan to let his fans down.
While Emraan has vowed to concentrate more on acting than on lip locks, his image as the numero uno lip-smacker is following him like a shadow.
In a forthcoming Bhatt presentation The Killer , Mahesh Bhatt wants Emraan to kiss in the movie’s climax. The film, directed by Hasnain-Raksha, also stars Nisha Kothari and Irfaan Khan .
However, Emraan has turned down Mahesh Bhatt’s idea.
A website quotes Emraan as saying: “I have told Bhatt saab I won’t kiss again. He doesn’t agree, and wants a kiss in the climax.”
Emraan says he is bored and tired of being repetitive. He wants new, challenging roles that can make him grow as an actor.
Meanwhile, in Emraan’s latest release Gangster , his underwater smooch with actress Kangna Ranaut was chopped.
Just last month, after his engagement to his girlfriend Parveen Shahani, Emraan had announced that his kiss in ‘Gangster’ would be his last onscreen lip-lock.
