Saif Ali Khan is too busy to do Feroz Khan’s remake of the 1980’s hit movie.
We know that actor-filmmaker Feroz Khan wants to remake his movie Qurbani that starred Vinod Khanna and Khan himself opposite Zeenat Aman . The 1980 movie was a wholesome entertainer with excellent music, gripping story, sizzling dare-bare scene from Zeenat Aman and, last but not the least, incredible acting by Amjad Khan who played a cop with an eccentric sense of humour.
It is learnt that Feroz Khan wants to remake the movie this year itself. He had finalized his own son Fardeen Khan and Saif Ali Khan to play the two heroes in the film.
But now, reports have it that Saif has excused himself from the project because the actor cannot spare any dates till May next year.
Now, Feroz Khan will have to look for another star.
Meanwhile, Saif is going to be busy with a number of projects. He is slated to act in an Abbas Mastan thriller (with Fardeen) and a film with the Salaam Namaste director Siddharth Anand.
Saif has already completed the shooting of Vishal Bhardwaj’s Omkara . In the film, he plays a shrewd and scheming man.
