HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | BOLLYWOOD 'Dhoom 2' in South Africa11th May 2006 20.15 IST By ApunKaChoice Bureau Yashraj films’ forthcoming big venture Dhoom 2 will be shot in South Africa. The movie, a sequel to the 2004 hit Dhoom , has already been shot partly in Brazil and now a few portions of it will be shot in South Africa. 
The film is an action thriller starring Hrithik Roshan (in a grey role), Aishwarya Rai , Abhishek Bachchan , Bipasha Basu and Uday Chopra . The South African schedule of the movie will involve shooting of fast-paced action sequences, helicopter chases and much more. The shooting in SA will be facilitated by the Avalon Group of cinemas. A.B. Moosa, managing director of the company, said the shooting would bring greater publicity for the South African tourism industry and he was particularly happy about Aishwarya Rai’s visit to the country. “The shoot will mean that we will have in South Africa for the first time the former Miss World Ms Aishwarya Rai, rated amongst the top 10 most beautiful women in the world,” Moosa is quoted as saying. The shooting of the film is likely to begin in SA by May-end. In a goodwill gesture, Qatar Airways will sponsor air travels for the entire cast and production crew from India to South Africa.
