Naseer’s movie is about how terrorism affects the lives of people. In the film, Ayesha plays a girl who loses someone close to her in the 9/11 attacks in the US. In fact, there is a portion in the film that shows Ayesha receiving a phone call from a dear one who is onboard one of the high-jacked flights of 9/11 before the plane crashed into the twin towers.
Ayesha says doing a film with Naseeruddin Shah is an honor and privilege for her.
“Working in this film (Yun Hota) has taught me a great deal. Naseer ji is such a perfectionist that he inspires you to reach new peaks in whatever you do,” Ayesha says.
Apart from Naseer’s film, Ayesha is also playing a significant role in Kukunoor’s film ‘Dor’. The film tells the story of a woman whose husband is sentenced to death in Saudi Arabia after he killed a fellow Indian he went there with. The woman travels to find the widow of the killed man because, according to the Islamic law, she is the only one who can pardon her husband.
“I must have done something good to deserve working with such good directors at this stage of my career,” says the Takia girl.
