HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | BOLLYWOOD Celina Jaitley goes the J-Lo way29th May 2006 17.25 IST By ApunKaChoice Bureau Celina Jaitley scoured malls and stores in the US to buy a bag that she had seen Jennifer Lopez carrying. Celina had wanted to buy an expensive Fendi bag ever since she spotted Latino sensation Jennifer Lopez with it on the cover of an international magazine.
And when Celina was recently in the US for her Heat concerts, (with Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan), she searched for the bag and found it only after much scouring. It turned out that the Fendi bag she wanted was a limited edition item that is made available for purchase after an advance booking only. While Celina unsuccessfully tried to find the bag in many stores for the first few days, she found one at last in a Houston store. But to her bad luck, the storeowner refused to sell the bag as it had been ordered by someone else. However, when the owner came to know that Celina was an actress from India, he gladly sold the bag to her. Although Celina had to shell out $2,000 for the beige-colored bag, she calls it her priced possession. In fact, she will also appear with her coveted bag in Vikram Bhatt’s forthcoming film Red . A report quotes Celina as saying: “I am sure it (the bag) will look great on screen too.
