Veteran director Ravi Chopra says that he cannot think of a story idea sans mega superstar Amitabh Bachchan .

It took Chopra nearly 30 years after Zameer to direct Bachchan once again in Baghban last year, but now he says he cannot think of a story idea sans the Bollywood superstar.

"I directed Amitji in 'Zameer' way back in 1975 and after that I could not get any suitable story idea for him, but now every story I think of seems to be for him," Chopra said in Kolkata.

Chopra, who had the onerous responsibility of carrying forward the legacy of his father B.R. Chopra , got one of his biggest hits when he joined hands with Bachchan for the successful family drama 'Baghban' after a string of flops under the prestigious B R Films banner.

Chopra said that he is already on the verge of completing his third film with Bachchan - Babul - again a family drama in which the mega star plays a man trying to marry off his widowed daughter-in-law Rani Mukherjee .

He said that the film should have been released by now but was delayed due to Bachchan's recent indisposition.

"I am confident the film will be released by November," Chopra said exuding confidence about the success of the film despite a number of big budget films like Karan Johar 's Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna and Rakesh Roshan 's Krrish due for release later this year.

Chopra, who had made India's first big-budget disaster movie 'The Burning Train' in 1980, said he has already finalised his next film with Bachchan and it also has an interesting subject.

The film has been titled 'Bhootnath'. It is the story of a ghost and a child and Amitji would play the title role," Chopra said adding that the film would be directed by Vivek Sharma.

Chopra said he would be starting another film 'Pappu Pass Ho Gaya,' the cast of which is yet to be finalised.

"This is a story of a lawyer who had never fought a case in his life but suddenly finds himself handling a murder case," he said.

The recent success of animation film Hanuman has also inspired him to make India's first 3-D animation film 'Krishna Leela' which should also be released this year.

Chopra is also launching his son Abhay Chopra as a director with a period film based in British India. The film, - 'Mitti' - deals with the subject of love for the motherland.

"We are trying to say that anybody who doesn't love his 'mitti' (soil) has no right to live on it," he said.

The director strongly supported his uncle Yash Chopra on his stand on sharing of commission with multiplexes which sparked off the recent controversy over the Aamir Khan - starrer Fanaa as the film was not being screened in multiplexes in many cities.

"The filmmaking business has become very costly. Multiplex owners have to understand that a producer makes a huge investment in a film and in case of a big budget the film producer should get a little more share," he said.
