Aishwarya to make a short visit to IIFA in Dubai 14th June 2006

Contrary to the rumours, Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Rai will attend the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards in Dubai.
There have recently been rumours that Ash won’t attend the IIFA because she is not being paid her demanded fee by the event’s organizers. But such rumours can now be laid to rest.
The actress had apparently cancelled her visit to Dubai because she is presently busy with Mani Ratnam ’s movie Guru . However, the filmmaker is said to have now made adjustments in the film’s shooting schedule to allow Ash to attend the event for a day.
So, Ash will indeed attend the IIFA on its opening day. But she will not be performing on stage. She is going there for the premiere of her movie Provoked .
Ash will reach Dubai on June 14, Wednesday, to attend the premiere and a press conference. After just a day’s visit she will return to Chennai on 15th morning to join Mani Ratnam for his shooting.
