HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | BOLLYWOOD Kareena, Priyanka skip IIFA for 'Don'15th June 2006 18.30 IST By ApunKaChoice Bureau While the top stars of Bollywood are in Dubai for IIFA, Kareena Kapoor is headed to Malaysia to shoot for Farhan Akhtar’s movie Don . Just a month back, Kareena missed the promotional campaign of Omkara at Cannes for the Rockstars concerts in the US. Now, she is missing IIFA, the largest festival of Indian films abroad, for her movie commitment. 
Having just returned from London, Kareena now joins the shooting of ‘Don’ in Malaysia on Thursday. In the film, she plays the short role of the seductress Kamini that was played by Helen in the original Don (1978) . Not only Kareena, even Priyanka Chopra , who is the film’s heroine, will miss IIFA and shoot in Malaysia. The two actresses will shoot together for the film till June 18. About missing IIFA in Dubai, Priyanka says to a news agency: “I have always given my work top priority over anything else. I have never allowed any event, no matter how important, to come in the way of my work.” Besides the two actresses, even the movie’s star Shah Rukh Khan won’t attend the event.
