HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | BOLLYWOOD There might be sequel to 'Krrish' too23rd June 2006 15.00 IST By ApunKaChoice Bureau There might be yet another sequel to Hrithik Roshan ’s latest release Krrish . ‘Krrish’ itself is a sequel to Koi Mil Gaya that proved to be a superhit more than three years ago. The story of ‘Krrish’ begins where KMG ended and the superpowers of Rohit (Hrithik in KMG) have now been passed on to his son Krishna (Hrithik) in ‘Krrish’. 
Hrithik says ‘Krrish’ will lead the way for a new genre in Hindi cinema and if the film turns out to be a box-office success, which it is most likely to, then there might be another version of ‘Krrish’ in the future. “Yes, it's a wish and the success of ‘Krrish’ will ensure a sequel. I really want a part three to be there,” a Hindustan Times report quotes Hrithik as saying. Hrithik says ‘KMG’ and ‘Krrish’ have laid foundations for a superhero character. “See, Krrish is just laying the foundation for a superhero. He is on a personal mission and this film is more about his birth. We had to create a history for the character, take it slowly and ensure that there is an acceptance for the character. In part 3, Krrish will take on the responsibility of taking on the world,” Hrithik is quoted. In ‘Krrish’, Hrithik plays a man with superpowers inherited from his father. He plays a village guy who later goes to Singapore to pursue his ladylove. There, he fights a maniac scientist intent on unleashing destruction upon the world. Priyanka Chopra plays Hrithik’s love interest while Naseeruddin Shah plays the scientist.
