Soha Ali Khan says the trappings of fame don't captivate her because she comes from a very well-known Indian family.
Soha told a renowned magazine that she knows fame is fleeting and isn't impressed by stardom.
That's no surprise considering her family: Her brother is Bollywood heartthrob Saif Ali Khan , her mother is well-known actress Sharmila Tagore and her father is former Indian cricket captain Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi.
``My parents are incredibly successful, my brother's a superstar now,'' Soha was quoted as saying in the magazine.
``I am not hugely impressed by fame. I know fame may come and go and in the larger scheme of things it doesn't mean much.''
Soha's latest movie was the blockbuster Rang De Basanti , about a group of carefree youths who try to fight corrupt politicians.
Soha is currently filming ‘Postcards’, an English-language Bollywood movie about relationships that go wrong.
Soha said taking on challenging roles was exciting.
``I am not signing loads of films because that would be the wrong thing to do. What's the objective?'' Soha asked.
``Not to make lots of money or to see myself on screen every day and be hugely famous. To be offered good roles is the challenge.''
