HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | BOLLYWOOD Aishwarya Rai replaces Vidya Balan?13th July 2006 09.02 IST By ApunKaChoice Bureau Bollywood grapevine is abuzz with rumours that the gorgeous Aishwarya Rai has replaced Vidya Balan in a Rituparno Ghosh film. Ghosh has reportedly shelved his Akshay Kumar - Vidya starrer film Rahgir with Pritish Nandy Communication. The buzz is, now the film may be produced by UTV. 
Ghosh shifted his loyalty towards UTV, without informing PNC. However UTV has cleared that it is in talks with Ghosh on a completely different project that may star Akshay. Says Siddharth Kapoor of UTV "We loved Rituparno's script and the cast which will comprise of Akshay and Ash. But we will announce the final thing once everything falls into place." Ash has also been asked to do the role that was earlier supposed to be done by Vidya. However Ash's secretary claims, "Rituparno has narrated several stories to Ash, but currently she is out of the country and hence only when she returns will she be able to take a decision." Meanwhile Ghosh has started his film 'Sunglass' which stars Konkana Sen , Sanjay Suri and Jaya Bachchan .
