Tanushree Dutta says the actresses in Bollywood no more want to look skinny. A little bit of fat adds to the glamour.
Tanushree has recently been slimming down after putting on 5 kg of extra weight for a south Indian film titled Veerprada. The actresses down south have to look a bit healthy to be accepted by the audience.
And now, even as Tanushree is losing the extra flab she acquired, she says she is cautious not to slim down too much, “because the skinny look is out,” she says.
“It's not only in the South. Rani, Preity, Kareena – top actresses in Bollywood too are required not to be skinny. They all look like regular people with healthy bodies,” Tanushree is quoted as saying.
To stay fit and in shape, Tanushree works out regularly and eats healthy food cooked with minimum possible use of oil. In fact, the maid who cooks Tanushree’s food has had a special training from the actress’s mother in cooking the food that Tanu likes.
Tanushree’s forthcoming films include Good Boy Bad Boy by Mukta Arts and a film titled ‘Speed’ by Vikram Bhatt.
