We told you in March that Shah Rukh Khan will lend his vocal chords for a song in his forthcoming film Don .
It is clear now that the song is none other than the superhit Khaike Paan Banaras Wala picturised on mega superstar Amitabh Bachchan and the sexy Zeenat Aman in the original Don (1978) .
The original song, sung by the great late Kishore Kumar , was one of the highlights of the classic, but Bachchan never sung any lines.
But in ‘Don’ directed by Farhan Akhtar , SRK will croon some lines for the song, as the main singer is Udit Narayan , with Javed Akhtar penning the extra lyrics, and musical trio Shankar Ehsan Loy composing the music.
