After having kept a low profile for more than a year, Shah Rukh Khan is ready to step into the limelight once again.
It has been more than one year since SRK’s last film Paheli hit the theatres. The superstar has kept away from the media headlines since then, except for the time when Paheli was being lobbied for the Oscars. In the meantime, Aamir Khan has had as many as three releases and has made a substantial place in the public’s hearts.
But SRK is now emerging from the shadows. Just a few days remain for Karan Johar’s much-awaited film Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna to release in theatres worldwide (on August 11). And just a week after the film’s release, SRK will head off to Mauritius for a concert.
SRK, who last performed in his own concert ‘Temptations’, will hit the stage at the Anjalay Stadium, Belle Vue in Mauritius on August 19. Priyanka Chopra , Celina Jaitley , Zayed Khan and Malaika Arora will also be part of the 3-hr show that is likely to see the attendance of nearly 25,000 Bollywood fans.
This would be SRK’s second trip to Mauritius in the last six months. He was there for the Zee Cine Awards in March.
And after this concert, SRK will get busy promoting Farhan Akhtar’s movie Don , which is likely to release around Diwali time. The film has SRK playing double roles.
