Kareena Kapoor not yet ready for marriage

Kareena Kapoor , who starred in the last week’s release Omkara , says that she is not yet ready for marriage.

Kareena has denied reports that she will marry soon with her boyfriend Shahid Kapur and wants to work for another eight to ten years in Bollywood.

“Shahid and I are not ready for it now. I want to work for another eight to ten years in Bollywood", Kareena was reported as saying by a website.

Kareena added that she is happier and more positive because she has matured in acting and turned milder in behavior.

Kareena added that she has been changing fast, and behaves better with her colleagues saying she believes in Indian traditions, even in regard to her behavior with Shahid.

And the biggest sign of maturity that one can see in Kareena is her extension of hand of friendship towards Bipasha Basu – who also starred in ‘Omkara’.

Around four years ago, when they were shooting for Ajnabee , Kareena and Bipasha had a fight and were not on talking terms.

However things have changed today and the two have reportedly buried the hatchet.

A report quotes Kareena as saying, "When Vishal met me with his script last year, he'd asked me if I had a problem if Bipasha was in the same project. I assured him that I was absolutely comfortable with it. Why should anyone's presence deter you from doing a role? I would like this misconception to be cleared and want people to know that there's no problem between Bipasha and me."

Bipasha too is glad to forget the past and is quoted by the same report as saying: "I think it's very sweet of Kareena to say such wonderful things about me. I'm touched. From my side, I've always said there's never been a problem as such. For me, it's important to enjoy camaraderie on the sets without making everyone your best friend. I'm a professional and so is she. What happened during ‘Ajnabee’ was so long ago, we were both babies. I guess we all mature with time."

This is a case of the phrase 'there are no permanent friends or enemies in the movie business' coming true.
