The Bollywood spread this Friday consists of three movies - the first, starring Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi, the second, starring Salman Khan and Shilpa Shetty. The third is a comedy of errors with many small-time actors.

Of the three, it is Anthony Kaun Hai , a light-hearted comedy-cum-thriller that is likely to pull maximum crowd to the theatres. The film's USP is the pairing of the Munnabhai MBBS 'goons' Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi . However, in AKH the two actors are not playing friends, but foes.

Dutt plays a dashing hitman who bumps off his victims in the most unusual way. Warsi plays a conman who makes fake passports and identity cards. In the film, Arshad is paired with two heroines - Minissha Lamba and Anusha Dandekar - while there is no heroine opposite Dutt.

The film's director Raj Kaushal has said that AKH is not an out-and-out comedy but a thriller with moments of tongue-in-cheek humour.

"Anthony Kaun Hai is a light comic thriller and the audience will smile throughout the film," said Kaushal in New Delhi at a press conference to promote the film.

According to Arshad, the film's main strength is its script and the way the story has been told.

On the other hand, Salman Khan starrer Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar is a comedy about a husband and wife who keep quarrelling over trivial matters. The film has Salman playing an upper-middle class guy named Ayaan who marries a rich model Ahana ( Shilpa Shetty ). As soon as the euphoria of their marriage is over, differences start cropping up between the two. They begin to argue and quarrel over small issues. The film's promo has Salman giving an emphatic advice to the viewers : kabhi shaadi mat karna.

This film is not likely to make much dent at the box-office because it has been in the making for a very long time and has a stale look. Although K S Adhiyaman, the director, completed SKPGY a long time back, the film's release has been getting delayed for one reason or the other.

Apart from these two, actor Chakravarthy 's directorial venture Darwaza Bandh Rakho will also hit the marquee on Friday. The film, a comedy of errors, is the story of a bunch of good-for-nothing guys who kidnap a young rich girl to make some easy money. But they hide in a building that is filled with people who keep barging in, thereby making things difficult for the kidnappers.

The film, a Ram Gopal Varma production, stars Aftab Shivdasani , Chunky Pandey , Zakir Hussain, Sneha Dhabi and Isha Sharvani . It also has brief appearances by Manisha Koirala and Divya Dutta .

One common thing between the three releases this week is they all have an element of comedy. Which one scores the most at the box-office, remains to be seen.
