Urmila, wearing white sleeveless t-shirt with colourful Punjabi Lehenga, inaugurated the seventh casino of Nepal in Hotel Shangri-La by lighting the traditional lamp amidst hundreds of guests including some 100 veteran players from India.
Speaking about Nepal, Urmila told a news agency after the inaugural function: "It's a lovely country with warm and friendly people."
"I will be back soon, it's an absolutely wonderful country," she said.
"I would go back and tell people of India and other artists to visit this beautiful country," she said when asked how she would promote tourism in Nepal.
Urmila, who is in the country for a three-day visit, did not give any performance but watched others dance in tune with Hindi music including "Kanta Laga".
The actress visited Swoyambhunath, the famous Buddhist Stupa in the outskirt of Kathmandu.
