They were at loggerheads in a comedy film before. But this time Sanjay Dutt and Ajay Devgan will be seen locked in a different onscreen battle altogether.
Sanjay and Ajay were on the opposite sides of the fence, vying for the love of Aishwarya Rai in David Dhawan’s comedy Hum Kisise Kum Nahin .
Now the two stars are coming together in an action thriller to be directed by Milan Luthria who showed remarkable growth as a director in his last movie Taxi Number 9211 .
The film, titled Bheed (Crowd), will have Sanjay Dutt playing an outlaw. Ajay plays the cop on his trail.
There will also be two heroines – one opposite each hero – in the film. The actresses have not been finalized yet.
Milan Luthria is presently working on the script and will shoot it sometime in the first quarter of next year.
The director is said to be planning to shoot the film in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.
Luthria says the film will have a raw look and will be shot in very rugged terrain. He also expresses concern about encountering some real-life anti-social elements while shooting this movie.
Dutt is particularly passionate about this project because it is being made under the banner of his late father Sunil Dutt ’s production house Ajanta Arts. The project is intended to revive the banner.
