Superstar Amitabh Bachchan has given his nod to a project by Ravi Chopra.
Bachchan is already acting in Chopra’s next venture Babul in which he plays father-in-law to Rani Mukherjee . Even though there are months left for the movie to hit the theatres, Chopra is chalking out plans for another film with the Big B.
The film is tentatively titled Bhootnath.
It will be a story of relationship between an old man and a child. Juhi Chawla will play an important part in the film.
According to Bachchan, the movie’s concept is “very interesting”.
Ravi Chopra will only produce and not direct this venture. Vivek Sharma, one of Ravi’s associates, will don the director’s cap.
The movie’s shooting is likely to begin by the end of this year. It is expected to release in the first half of next year.
Bachchan’s association with the Chopras goes back to thirty years ever since the superstar first acted in their venture Zameer. The bond was revived two years ago with the relatively successful family drama Baghban .
