Sunny's last release was Jo Bole So Nihaal which was embroiled into controversy for allegedly hurting Sikh sentiments and bomb blasts in Delhi theatres, which were screening the movie.
Interacting with the media in Mumbai on Saturday evening, Sunny admitted that his back problem was a handicap and he had learnt to live with it.
"Every body knows I was unwell and hence I had to take a sabbatical. But, now I want to work and work. Every year, I should have three to five releases."
Tolu Bajaj's 'Naksha' directed by Bajaj's son debutant Sachin releases on September 8.
Sunny said that 'Naksha' was an adventure film with light comedy and action.
