Mallika Sherawat, Rahul Bose celebrate their film’s success

Not a week has passed since the release of Pyar Ke Side Effects and its leading stars, its producer and director are celebrating the film’s success.

There was a party atmosphere at Sejo in Bandra on Wednesday. The occasion was the celebration of the success of ‘Pyaar Ke Side Effects’. The film’s producers Pritish Nandy and Rangita Nandy, director Saket Chaudhary, actors Rahul Bose , Ranvir Shorey, Tarana and Sophie Chaudhary were there on the scheduled time. Only Mallika Sherawat , the film’s leading lady, was missing. At last, she arrived one hour late.

Dressed in a figure-hugging outfit, with fishnet stockings on her legs, Mallika, true to her image, looked immensely sexy and caught a lot of attention. As soon as she walked in, the party swung into top gear.

Mallika and Rahul opened a champagne bottle (Miss Sherawat had some trouble shaking that big bottle to get the fizz out) and they also cut a cake.

The movie’s director Saket Chaudhary said he was “fortunate to have such good actors” in his very first movie.

“Mallika and Rahul are the main attractions of the film,” he said.

Rahul Bose returned the compliment, saying it was the movie’s script that got him hooked to his role.

Mallika shared Rahul’s opinion. She said she was “very glad to be part of this beautiful film.”

“I got this great opportunity and I grabbed it with both my hands,” said Mallika while making the grabbing gesture with her hands.

Rahul said he was surprised to see that times have changed so much that a movie’s fate is known just within its first week.

“I remember the times when a silver jubilee used to be celebrated after a 25-week run and golden jubilee after 50 weeks. Now, things have become so fast. Just after a week, here we are celebrating the film’s success,” said an incredulous Rahul.

Mallika stayed in the party for a short time only. Hardly had half-an-hour passed, when she made a quiet exit. She had to go to shoot for Anees Bazmee’s film Welcome .
