The star celebrates her birthday at a private party with her family and close friends.
Even though her beauty and the glow on her face would have us believe that Kareena Kapoor is much younger, she celebrates her 26th birthday on Thursday in Goa. Kareena is there on a five-day vacation with her friends and family.
On her birthday, Kareena is going to have a private party. As many as ten friends of the actress are already there with her, enjoying the leisurely evenings on the beaches of Goa.
Kareena says the celebrations have been due for quite some time because she has had a good year in Bollywood. The relative good run of 36 China Town and Chup Chup Ke , followed by the critical acclaim for Omkara , has been instrumental in taking Kareena’s acting career to a new high.
Recently, Kareena also got a rare honour in the form of Smita Patil Memorial Award. And now she is gung ho about Farhan Akhtar’s movie Don in which she plays a rather brief role. She plays Kamini, played by Helen in the original movie starring Amitabh Bachchan .
Kareena has also signed a Mani Ratnam film titled Lajjo with Aamir Khan .
However, for the time being, Bebo is “chilling out” in Goa and keeping work out of her mind.
