Rani is presently in New York, shooting for Siddharth Anand’s movie Tara Rum Pum with Saif Ali Khan . 
Back in Mumbai, her household is abuzz with festivities and celebrations of Durga Puja. Krishna Mukherji, Rani's mother rues the fact that her daughter is away on the other side of the globe while their houses in Mumbai and West Bengal are celebrating their 59th year of Durga Puja, which hold great importance to Bengalis. Rani, who is a religious person, is likely to take out some time from her busy shooting schedules and make it back home on the last day of the Puja. Last year too she attended the puja on the very final day. Ever since Rani began her acting career, she has missed the Durga Puja on four different occasions. And every time has been due to her movie commitment.
