HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | BOLLYWOOD Glam doll Neetu Chandra plays a journalist 11th Oct 2006  19.15 IST By ApunKaChoice   Neetu Chandra , who made her acting debut in last year’s comedy film Garam Masala , will act in Anupam Kher ’s home production. Kher is making a film on Kashmiri pandits. The movie called ‘Homeland’ will be a story of a father (a Kashmiri pandit) searching for his lost son. Neetu will play a journalist. Unlike her first film, Neetu will be seen in a de-glamorized role in ‘Homeland’. The film will be directed by Ashok Pandit. Neetu was finalized for the role after Pandit saw her shooting for Madhur Bhandarkar’s in-the-making film Traffic Signal . Pandit says Neetu’s performance in the film impressed him very much and prompted him to offer her the role in ‘Homeland’. The shooting of the movie begins next month in Kashmir.
