Bollywood’s talented director Madhur Bhandarkar is busy completing the shoot of his upcoming movie Traffic Signal in Mumbai’s haunted mills.
The film’s shooting will conclude with a song in which two beggars will be shown getting married. The director is shooting the song in Mumbai’s Mukesh Mills, which are considered to be hexed by many in Bollywood.
However, Madhur thinks that the mills have always proved lucky for him and every time he shoots there his film turns out to be a success.
He has previously shot the songs ‘Kuvan Maa Doob Jayungi’ (for Page 3 ) and ‘Sikander Sikander’ (for Corporate ) at the mills. And both films have gone to do well at the box-office.
Moreover, Bhandarkar shot these songs at night.
Bhandarkar says he hasn’t so far come across any thing that makes him believe that Mukesh Mills is a haunted place.
‘Traffic Signal’ is a dark comedy based on lives of people living around traffic signal. The movie stars Konkona Sen Sharma , Ranvir Shorey, Neetu Chandra and Kunal Khemu . It is presented by Percept Picture Company.
Madhur aims to release the film in January 2007.
The film will show Konkona Sen in a raunchy avatar.
