 Rani Mukherjee gets a new designer for 'Babul'

Rani Mukherjee has got a new dress designer for her forthcoming film ‘Babul’.

Till now, it was Manish Malhotra who was the designer of Rani and had been with her since her first big hit Kuch Kuch Hota Hai .
For ‘Babul’, Rani has chosen Sabyasachi Mukherjee, a popular designer known more for his couture work than designing clothes for movie stars.
Reports are that ‘Babul’ director Ravi Chopra wanted Malhotra, but had to switch to Mukherjee because of Rani’s insistence.
Scheduled to release on December 8, 2006, ‘Babul’ also stars mega superstar Amitabh Bachchan , Hema Malini , Salman Khan , John Abraham and Om Puri .
