A criminal arrested by police in Maharastra has alleged that he was conspiring to kill Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat .
Rajesh Dalal, who was wanted by Delhi police for criminal offences like kidnapping, attempt to murder and assault on police officers, has made a shocking revelation after his arrest in Maharashtra's Sangli district.
According to reports, while Dalal was being paraded before the media at the police headquarters, he shouted to reporters that he had gone to Maharashtra with the intention of killing Mallika Sherawat because she has, in his opinion, hurt the sensitivities of Haryana’s Jat community by her bold roles.
However, according to police, this is just a cheap publicity stunt by Dalal “to divert attention from his cases.”
On the other hand, Mallika has reportedly said that she is unfazed by such threats. She will continue to do her work in Bollywood as before.
Mallika will next be seen in a song appearance in Mani Ratnam’s movie Guru . She is also acting in comedy films like Fauj Mein Mauj and Welcome .
