Both Ash and Abhi began shooting for Sanjay Gadhvi’s movie after working together in Mani Ratnam’s Guru , which required both of them to look chubby. 
While Aditya Chopra (producer of ‘Dhoom 2’) insistently asked Ash to slim down to play the clever and cunning Sunehri opposite already-in-shape Hrithik Roshan , Chopra was a bit lenient on Abhishek. But Ash was not. It was Ash who reportedly prompted him to work out along with her. She also assigned her personal instructor, Deepika Mehta, to Abhishek to help him flatten the protruding belly that he had to develop for ‘Guru’. Ash and Abhi worked out together for about two weeks. And the great irony is that while doing exercises together in the gym they would also make plans for dinner. Luckily, they practiced frugality in food for a month. And the result was visible. Ash fitted perfectly into her slinky outfits in the film, while Abhishek too was leaner than his previous self.
