Contrary to the serious impression he usually gives, Ajay Devgan is quite a prankster when he is in jocular mood.
While shooting for director Anubhav Sinha’s movie Cash in Cape Town, Ajay, along with his co-stars Ritesh Deshmukh and Zayed Khan , made sure to add some fun to work.
Ajay discovered a shop in the locality that sold various prank items. And he bought a number of these items on regular basis to play pranks on his co-stars and director.
One day, he brought an MP3 player on the shooting sets. When Anubhav Sinha found the actors listening joyfully to something on the player, he, being a music buff, got curious. Ajay and Ritesh urged Anubhav to listen to the “amazing remix number” on the player. When Anubhav put on the ear-phones, he got an electric shock. That was the prank.
Apart from this, the actors found a foam brick that looked exactly like an actual one. They began scaring people on the sets by throwing that brick on them.
Sinha says the shooting schedule of the film has left everyone with fond memories. And despite all the pranks, the film was wrapped in a little more than seven weeks.
