The spiritual inclination of Priyanka Chopra

The spiritual inclination of Priyanka Chopra has now started to come to the fore.

The former Miss World has discovered a new side to herself, thanks to her new aide Avi, who is a tarot card reader.

Priyanka says, “Spirituality is all about positive thinking and connecting with your inner self. I am thankful to God for everything that I have got in my life.”

Priyanka says that Avi helped her to connect with the mystical. “When I met Avi, I wasn’t very serious about spirituality. Initially, it was just fun, and I took it all rather casually. However, Avi has really inspired me.

“He is quite accurate in his readings and he guides me well. And over a period of time we have become great friends and always hang out together.”

Avi, meanwhile seems to have got used to being an all-important figure in Priyanka’s life.

“I first met Priyanka during a tarot card reading session and now we are very good friends,” he says.

“I saw her go through a lot when her father was unwell, but the way she dealt with it was astonishing.

“She always calls me when she needs me and we are always in touch. She might be very busy but she always considers my opinion before she takes any important steps in her life.

“I have told her that the films that she is doing right now, like Salaam-e-Ishq and Love Story 2050 , will take her to a different level all together.”

It is unclear whether it is thanks to Avi’s advice, but Priyanka will also be venturing into the world of Latin dancing.

“I’d much rather work on myself. I want to do Latin contemporary-salsa, jazz, whatever. That excites me. Any new skill would be an asset to me as an actress,” she says.

As if that’s not enough, Priyanka is also learning a new form of self-defense for her new movie Drona .

“This is an Indian form of fighting. That's all I can tell you on record. I’ve a professional trainer who has come down from a certain part of the country for this very purpose,” Priyanka says.
