And the movie, that is scheduled to hit the theatres this Friday, is directed by Priyadarshan , who has lately developed panache at directing comedies.
According to the ace director audiences go to the movies to be entertained and don't want to watch anything serious.
“In these times of murder, riots, loans and stress, who wants to watch anything serious?” Priyadarshan said.
“Everybody needs to let off steam and 'Bhagam Bhaag' is that safety valve,” he added.
The movie is about an Indian theater group booked to perform in London who meets a woman whose husband is murdered. The woman, played by Lara Dutta , is a liar who lands everyone in trouble.
This is the first time Akshay and Govinda have teamed up. Sanjay Dutt is also rumoured to have a guest appearance.
'Bhagam Bhaag' also marks Govinda's comeback on the silver screen. The film has been extensively shot in London.
