HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | BOLLYWOOD The 'Drona' paradox: Does a superhero need a bodyguard?13th Feb 2007 21.30 IST By Nikhil Kumar There is something odd about the roles of Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra in Goldie Behl’s forthcoming action flick Drona . This film is being described as Abhishek’s answer to Hrithik Roshan ’s Krrish . ‘Drona’ will have Abhi playing a superhero with superhuman qualities. The movie will feature Abhishek in some very risky stunts and action sequences. To add the necessary punch, there will be lots of special effects too. 
Now let’s move to Priyanka’s role in the film. She plays a spunky woman trained in martial arts. She is Abhi’s bodyguard in the film. To prepare for her role, Priyanka even learnt a Sikh form of martial art called Gatka under the guidance of four Nihang Sikh men. Having said this, an obvious question that begs to be asked is that if Abhi plays a superhero, why does he need a bodyguard in the film. There is certainly something amiss in the information that has been given by the movie’s makers. The film’s producer Shrishti Arya is not willing to reveal anything about the movie’s storyline. What is surely known is that Abhishek will don a very new look in the movie. He will have long hair and slim figure (much unlikely his bulky frame). Anaita Shroff is doing Abhi’s styling in the flick. ‘Drona’ recently got into a controversy due to the death of a horse on the sets in Bikaner. The first schedule of the film was shot in Prague (Czech Republic). Reports have it that Amitabh Bachchan is taking keen interest in the making of this film and is also putting in good deal of money in the project. The aim is to establish Abhi as a superhero. But a superhero who needs a female bodyguard!
