Amitabh to visit Aishwarya on 'Jodha Akbar' sets

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan will visit his would-be daughter-in-law on the sets of Ashutosh Gowarikar’s movie Jodha Akbar .

The film, which is presently being shot at Nitin Desai’s studios in Karjat, has Aishwarya Rai playing Hindu princess Jodhabai and Hrithik Roshan playing Mughal emperor Akbar.

Apparently, Ash has been raving about Ashutosh Gowarikar ’s work ethics to Mr. Bachchan. Gowarikar is known for his discipline and unique working style. While shooting the film, he prefers the crew to stay absolutely focused on the project. He entertains no visitors, no matter how high profile. He even had two cottages build up for Hrithik and Ash in case they want to stay on the location after the work is over.

Moreover, Nitin Desai is believed to have created an incredible set for the movie.

It appears that Amitabh Bachchan is interested in visiting the sets and watch the shooting of the film. He also wants to see Ash’s expensive costumes (designed by Neeta Lulla) and Desai’s palatial sets (one of which has lakhs of small mirrors).

Since no visitors are allowed on the sets of ‘Jodha Akbar’, Nitin Desai is reportedly throwing a party on March 7. Mr. Bachchan has been invited to the party.

Reports have it that Hrithik and Ash will shoot on March 7 till 6.30 in the evening. Mr. Bachchan will come around that time. He will perhaps watch a little bit of shooting and then would be shown around the film’s unique sets.

Meanwhile, speculation is still rife about Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan ’s wedding date. Rumour has it that they might tie the knot this month in Jodhpur.
