Madhuri Dixit enjoys dancing the most

She mesmerized the whole country with her seductive moves when she was at the peak of her career in Bollywood and now too it dancing that Madhuri Dixit enjoys the most.

It was a sizzling dance sequence that marked the start of her career and 20 years and nearly 60 films later, Madhuri says it's dancing she enjoys most.

“Dance is a lot of things to me. It's very spiritual to begin with,” Madhuri is quoted as saying in a newspaper. “For me it's like an expression of everything that I am.”

In 1988, after a few nonstarters, Madhuri danced her way to superstardom in a short skirt, to the song ``Ek, Do Teen,'' in Tezaab . She went on to become one of India's highest paid actresses in the 1990s.

Dance has been an important part of most characters she played, including in the 1997 hit Dil To Pagal Hai and her most recent role of a courtesan in a story of doomed love in Devdaas released in 2002.

Madhuri, who is trained in Kathak, then took a break from acting after her marriage in 1999, and later to look after her two young sons.

Madhuri is in Mumbai now filming her Bollywood comeback and dancing again in ‘Aaja Naachley’ produced by Yash Chopra .

Madhuri said she was relaxed on the movie set since she knew her sons were in the care of her in-laws and her parents who live in Mumbai.

``My kids love it here, they have both sets of grandparents, their cousins are here and I know they're well taken care of,'' said Madhuri.
