Besides being a good actress and dancer, Urmila Matondkar also has a passion for painting and singing.
Urmila’s talent for singing came to the fore recently when she sung a song with Asha Bhosle for the latter’s album ‘Asha And Friends’.
The song became so popular that it reached No 2 spot on the Indian MTV charts. And on the evening of the party to celebrate the album’s success, Urmila received lavish compliments from talented singers like Hariharan, Talat Aziz, Bhupendra and Kunal Ganjawala.
Moreover, Urmila has been getting offers to cut a music album of her own. But the actress wants to focus only on her acting career in Bollywood.
Very little is also known about Urmila’s another passion: painting. The actress has been sketching and painting since her teenage.
Urmila reportedly has an easel and all other painting paraphernalia at a studio at her farmhouse in Panchgani where she goes to relax and paint whenever she gets free time.
The actress has so far painted nearly 30 canvases, most of which are landscapes or abstract paintings.
However, it has been many months since she last put brush to the canvas because of her Bollywood commitments and constant travel.
