In real life Sunil Shetty is a man of strong body but a mellow heart. But in a forthcoming film, he is all set to play a badman.
Sunil has been out of action for quite some time now. JP Dutta’s Umrao Jaan was his last assignment. Since then he has been busy chalking plans for his home production Raaste and signing a few movies on the sidelines.
The brawny actor has now agreed to be part of Sanjay Gupta’s next movie Jazbaa , in which he will play a negative character.
Sunil says he did not consciously choose a villainous role. He agreed to play the part because the role is strong. ‘Jazbaa’ stars Sanjay Dutt , Fardeen Khan and Aftab Shivdasani in the lead roles.
Sunil and Sanjay Gupta share a special bonding. Besides ‘Jazbaa’, Sunil is also acting in Gupta’s Shootout At Lokhandwala (directed by Apoorva Lakhia) and ‘Rise and Fall’ (part of Dus Kahaniyan ).
