HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | BOLLYWOOD Hrithik Roshan asked wife before kissing Aishwarya Rai23rd Mar 2007 09.01 IST By Agencies Yes, reports are that Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan sought permission of his wife Suzanne before kissing the gorgeous Aishwarya Rai in Dhoom 2 . Hrithik apparently had a full-fledged discussion on it with Suzanne and only after she approved of it and ‘encouraged’ him, did he go ahead with the scene. 
Seems like it has a lot to do with the fact that Hrithik is a very family-oriented person and his wife’s approval means the world to him. And regarding the liplock, a few months ago reports had said that the Bachchans asked Yashraj Films to axe the scene that shows their to-be daughter-in-law (Ash) doing a ‘bold smooch’. However, ‘Dhoom 2’ director Sanjay Gadhvi refused to comment on the issue and maintained that his relations with Yashraj Films haven’t been effected due to the controversy. The liplock had raised eyebrows and sparked off controversies soon after the movie was released on November 24 last year. A lawyer had even filed a legal suit against Hrithik and Ash. However, no formal action was taken against Yashraj Films. The Bachchans never approved of the Ash-Hrithik liplock and speculation was rife that Abhishek Bachchan had stopped talking to Hrithik after seeing the kissing scene. Now with the Ash-Abhishek wedding round the corner, it seems the Bachchans are all out to get a squeaky clean image of their would-be daughter-in-law.
