It is common knowledge that John is nowadays shooting for Vivek Agnihotri’s movie Goal in London. He plays a football player in the film. Even though the film’s shooting may continue till mid May, John is learnt to have agreed to act in director Soham Shah ’s next movie also. 
John was one of the stars of Soham’s movie Kaal which was produced by Karan Johar’s production company. However, Soham is no longer working under Karan now. Like ‘Kaal’, Soham’s next movie will also be an adventure thriller. It is learnt that John will play a mountain climber in it. It is a little known fact that John is a trained mountain climber. Although he has been out of practice for sometime now, he will brush up his climbing skills before shooting the film.
