At last, Salman Khan’s first international film ‘Marigold’ is ready to hit the theatres.
For how many years have we been listening about Salman’s ambitious movie Marigold – An Adventure in India , which has been directed by Hollywood’s Willard Carroll and features gorgeous Ali Larter opposite Salman Khan . Though the film was completed a long time back, it had been lying in the cans all this while.
Now, the good news is that India’s AdLabs has reportedly signed a deal to release the film in May this year. The release date is learnt to be May 18.
‘Marigold’ stars Ali Larter as an American actress Marigold Lexton who gets stranded in Mumbai and is forced by circumstances to work in a Bollywood movie. Salman plays her dance instructor Prem. The film has several ingredients of a typical Bollywood potboiler. It also has seven songs.
The movie’s director Willard Carroll said in a previous interview that ‘Marigold’ is his way of introducing Bollywood to the West.
‘Marigold’ was primarily shot in Rajasthan, Mumbai and Goa.
