Today’s release ‘Tara Rum Pum’ sees Rani Mukherjee in a very glamorous avatar.
It is very rare that we get to see Rani in short skirts and trendy tops in a Bollywood flick. Siddharth Anand’s movie Tara Rum Pum presents Rani in this image.
For the initial portions of the film when she plays a college student, Rani will be seen in mini skirts and short tops. Later, when she gets married and has children, her dresses also change to more elegant and sober outfits like gowns, trousers, jeans, shirts and coats etc.
Before she began shooting for the film, Rani was a bit chubbier. And when she came to know about her role and what kind of look it was supposed to have, Rani immediately hired a fitness trainer named Satya.
From then on began the arduous workouts. Rani, who was very passionate about acquiring a slim figure for her role in ‘Tara Rum Pum’, kept her trainer on the toes with her consistent demands.
Not just her fitness trainer, even her dress designer Surily Goel had to do extra slogging because of Rani’s meticulous attention to the tiny details in the clothes of her character in the film. Rani coordinated with Surily in creating a right look for her character.
According to Surily, Rani’s personal sense of fashion is very classic.
“Rani doesn’t glam herself up from head to toe. Even in glamourous clothes she likes to keep things simple and comfortable for herself,” says Surily.
Surily adds that Rani’s getting into a svelte shape made the designed outfits look very appealing on her.
