The father-son duo will act together in one more film.
Even as ad filmmaker R Balakrishnan’s first feature film Cheeni Kum is slated to hit the theatres in the last week of May, the director has chalked plans for his next movie.
The film, titled Pa , will be about father-son bonding. It will be a lighthearted comedy.
Balki (as Balakrishnan is often referred) wrote the movie’s script with both Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan in mind. And when he narrated the story idea to the father-son duo, they immediately agreed to do the movie.
‘Pa’ will have Paresh Rawal in an important role. The movie will also have a female lead opposite Abhishek, but she is still to be decided.
The film’s shooting will not begin at least for a month as Abhishek has gone on honeymoon with his wife Aishwarya Rai .
For the time being, Balki is fully focused on the release of ‘Cheeni Kum’ on May 25.
The film has Amitabh playing a chef in London who falls for a young girl, played by Tabu . ‘Cheeni Kum’ is a feelgood comedy.
