Actor Ajay Devgan has begun shooting for his first film as a director.
The movie, tentatively titled ‘U, Me Aur Hum’, features Ajay, his wife Kajol , actress Isha Sharvani , Karan Khanna and Sumeet Raghavan. The movie is a love story.
Devgan says he has been toying with a story idea for some time. And when he decided to make a film on it, he himself had to be on the director’s seat to give his own vision to the project.
Ajay says his foray into direction is a natural progression in his growth as an artist. And he is pretty confident about his new role behind the camera.
The shooting of ‘U, Me Aur Hum’ began on May 2 at a studio in Andheri. The mahurat shot was canned on Sumeet Raghavan, who has worked on TV before.
The movie will now be shot for 20 days on a cruise liner between Mumbai and Lakshadweep.
