Veteran actress Sharmila Tagore is full of praise for the acting performance of her son Saif Ali Khan in Siddharth Anand’s film Tara Rum Pum .
Sharmila Tagore , who is the Censor Board chief, saw the movie along with her family on the birthday of her daughter Sabaa a few days back.
While Sharmila liked Saif’s performance in the film, she thinks the movie’s end could have been better.
“Saif is becoming, wow! Mashallah, his scenes with the children were so full of warmth,” Sharmila Tagore is quoted as saying.
What Sharmila liked the most about Saif’s performance was that it didn’t seem aided much by the movie’s director.
“All of us thought Saif managed to hold his own. You know, in Parineeta and Omkara his performance was helped considerably by the director. But here in 'Ta Ra Rum Pum' he managed to say and do quite a lot on his own,” Sharmila Tagore is quoted as saying in an IANS report.
However, Sharmila Tagore did not like the movie’s end. She thinks if Saif and Rani Mukherjee had chosen to stay in the cabbies’ colony the end would have been more bourgeois-friendly.
