HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | BOLLYWOOD 'Cheeni Kum' goes to Cannes 10th May 2007  17.22 IST By ApunKaChoice   Cheeni Kum , the movie starring Amitabh Bachchan and Tabu , will premiere at the upcoming Cannes Film Festival. The film, directed by adman-turned-filmmaker R. Balakrishnan, has already aroused much interest because of its unique storyline. It is a light-hearted comedy about romance between a 64-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman. The film’s producer, Sunil Manchanda, is now learnt to be taking the movie to Cannes. The film will have its premiere at Cannes on 21st May. While Amitabh Bachchan will attend the festival for sure, Tabu’s presence has still not been confirmed. However, unconfirmed reports claim that Tabu will indeed go to Cannes. A day after its Cannes premiere, ‘Cheeni Kum’ will have a lavish premiere in London on May 22. Many portions of the film have been shot in London. And then, on May 24, a day before the film’s release, ‘Cheeni Kum’ will have a premiere in Mumbai. Related Cheeni Kum Amitabh Bachchan Tabu
