Apparently, Hrithik Roshan ’s father Rakesh Roshan is pretty impressed by the work of director Anurag Basu .
Basu’s latest movie Metro may have fallen a little short of becoming a hit, but the movie undoubtedly showcases Basu’s talent as a director.
Rakesh Roshan , who has directed a number of superhit films, was so impressed after watching ‘Metro’ that he called Basu to congratulate him.
In fact, Roshan senior asked Basu to write a script for his production house Filmkraft Productions. Basu has so far worked with two production houses: Mahesh Bhatt’s Vishesh Films and UTV.
There is a strong possibility that Rakesh Roshan is thinking of roping in Basu to write and direct a movie for Filmkraft. The movie will undoubtedly feature Hrithik Roshan in the lead role.
It is still early to talk about the film because Basu still has to write a script (keeping Hrithik in mind) that will appeal to the Roshans. If things fall in place, only then will Basu be signed to direct Hrithik.
Sources close to the Roshans say that Rakesh Roshan is keen to produce a film that will showcase Hrithik’s acting talent rather than consolidate his action hero image. And since Basu is known for making interesting films on complexities of human relationships, he seems the ideal choice to direct Hrithik.
