Preity says that after several serious roles it is refreshing, and fun, to be shooting a comedy again ‘Jhoom Barabar Jhoom’. ‘Jhoom Barabar Jhoom’ released last Friday and also stars Lara Dutta and has Bollywood mega superstar Amitabh Bachchan in a special appearance. ``It's been a long time since I had so many funny lines to mouth,'' Preity told a newspaper recently. But doing a comedy again was extra hard work because the actors cracked up with laughter over the dialogue, Preity said. ``The lines were so funny, we had to work hard on getting it right,'' Preity said. Preity plays a British Asian waiting in a London cafe to meet her sweetheart when she bumps into an Indian, who recently migrated to London, played by Abhishek.
