Many actresses were considered for the role that has now reportedly gone to Jiah Khan .
The search for the second heroine opposite Aamir Khan in the Hindi remake of Tamil hit Ghajini has apparently ended. The role was first offered to Ayesha Takia who surprisingly turned it down. Priyanka Chopra and Kangana Ranaut were also considered but none of them was finalized.
The lucky gal to bag the role is none other than Ram Gopal Varma’s find Jiah Khan who has been keeping a low profile after her first movie Nishabd .
The movie, yet untitled, has Tamil actress Asin playing Aamir’s first heroine. She plays Aamir’s fiancée who is killed by gangsters. Aamir plays a man who becomes amnesiac after he is hurt while trying to save his fiancée. Thereafter, with his limited memory and with help from a medical student (to be played by Jiah), he takes revenge from his lover’s killers.
‘Ghajini’ was highly inspired by Christopher Nolan's movie ‘Memento’.
The film’s Hindi version is directed by A Murugadoss, who directed the Tamil flick.
The Hindi movie’s title is yet to be finalized, even though its shooting has already begun.
