HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | BOLLYWOOD Kareena and Madhavan are cutest vegetarians 26th July 2007  18.33 IST By ApunKaChoice   Kareena Kapoor and Madhavan have been voted cutest vegetarians of this year. The two have been chosen by People For the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) after an online poll. Kareena Kapoor is flattered by the recognition particularly because she hasn’t been a vegetarian all her life. Only a year and a half back she quit eating non-veg food after being prompted by her boyfriend Shahid Kapur . Shahid himself was one of the hopefuls for the contest. He, too, hasn’t been a veggie all his life, but converted a few years back. On the other hand, Madhavan (Ajay of Rang De Basanti ), has been a lifelong vegetarian. He appreciates the recognition by PETA but finds the tag ‘cutest’ a bit odd for a person of his age (37). Other Bollywood veggies who were in contention for the contest were John Abraham , Shahid Kapur, Mallika Sherawat and Amrita Rao .
