Saif Ali Khan will play the lead role in Homi Adajania’s next movie titled ‘Resurrection’.
A year after his movie Being Cyrus was lauded by critics, Homi Adajania is teaming up with Saif again for his next flick, a suspense thriller set in the turn of the 20th century India.
Titled Resurrection , the film will reportedly be a classic British manor whodunit.
Adajania is presently learnt to be working on the script along with Renzil D’Silva (who co-wrote Rang De Basanti ).
The filmmaker says Saif was his first choice for the film because the actor has the guts to step out of the mainstream and try offbeat films.
‘Resurrection’ will once again have Adajania’s peculiar film-noir touch. The film’s shooting is expected to begin early next year. The movie will be produced by Saif and his partner Dinesh Vijan's production company, Illuminati Films.
Adajania, who is also an adventure traveler, is working on two more scripts – a comedy and a dark thriller.
