Hrithik Roshan has proved yet again that more than anything he looks for substance in his roles.
Even the possibility of being cast alongside Hollywood actress Uma Thurman could not lure Hrithik to give his nod to filmmaker Vishal Bharadwaj ’s next project, which will be an English film.
After making a couple of critically acclaimed films, Bharadwaj is now eyeing international audience and is planning to make an English movie for which Uma Thurman, the ‘Kill Bill’ star, has been approached.
The movie will be made under the banner of UTV.
Vishal had also finalized Hrithik for a role in the film. But when he narrated the script to Hrithik, the actor was not excited as his role lacked enough substance and footage.
Reports have it that Hrithik and Vishal parted ways amicably.
Hrithik is known for his uncompromising attitude when it comes to choosing roles.
Vishal is now waiting to hear a final word from Uma Thurman. It is still not certain whether she would be able to give her dates to the project.
Bharadwaj says it is only after hearing from Uma will he finalize the actor opposite her.
